About Me!

Hi there! My name is Kayla Crispino. I’m originally from Park Ridge, IL but I grew up in Elgin, IL.

I have my BFA in Acting from Northern Illinois University where I learned various acting techniques such as Meisner, Fitzmaurice, on camera work, and more. During my time in school, I was in plays for the University, participated in other students' film projects and even created two of my own. Towards the end of my time there, I loved making social media promo for the school productions.

My favorite role at NIU was Annette in God of Carnage by Yasmina Reza. My debut on the NIU stage as Annette set the tone for the rest of my work at University as I learned not only things about the character, but about myself. The opportunity to play such a powerful woman taught me how to be strong and passionate and revealed what it means to be human.

Outside of acting and work, I enjoy collecting little trinkets, weightlifting, and hanging out with one of my best friends… my cat, Mazie.
